Menard Wins Ground Engineering Specialist Award at CN Specialists Awards 2020
We are proud to announce that Menard have been crowned “Ground Engineering Specialist of the Year” at the 2020 Construction News Specialist Awards!
A huge thanks goes out to everyone involved. To be recognised within the industry for such a prestigious award is an honour and just reward for all the hard work put in by our teams.
The category of Ground Engineering Specialist of the Year was open to all UK specialist contractors and the judges were looking for companies meeting the following criteria:
- Good workforce culture, including training and embracing diversity
- Outstanding projects
- On-going clear strategy and vision
- Innovation and use of technology
- Health & safety
- Client satisfaction
- Business growth
- Performance on sustainability
The winners were decided after finalists attended face-to-face judging by a panel made up of the UK’s largest construction firms and project leaders. Winners were announced via a virtual event held by Construction News on Tuesday 16th November.
The judges noted that “Menard covered all the bases the judges were looking for with innovative solutions that minimise cost and environmental impact and great awareness of industry challenges including diversity, legacy planning, health and safety as well as an embedded digital mindset.”
