Menard achieves IS0 14064-1 verification

Menard UK is very pleased to share that we have achieved ISO 14064-1 verification with NQA. Our Environmental Advisor Georgia Gillen has worked hard with support from Auditel (UK) Limited to attain this internationally recognised standard for organisations measuring and reporting on greenhouse gas emissions and removals.

Completing the assessment is extremely rewarding, as it reflects the significant effort invested in accurately measuring and managing our greenhouse gas emissions. This verification brings a strong sense of pride and credibility and stands as a testament to the dedication of our employees and our ongoing commitment to improving environmental performance and driving carbon reduction.

Looking ahead, we plan to maintain our ISO 14064‑1 accreditation through annual verification. We will continue to monitor, measure, and verify our greenhouse gas emissions in line with the standard, collecting and validating a complete dataset each year while ensuring methodologies remain compliant and independently verified by NQA.

With our Carbon Reduction Plan already embedded into daily operations, Menard UK continues to integrate reduction initiatives, efficiency improvements, and low‑carbon practices across the business, supporting ongoing improvement, operational decarbonisation, and long‑term credibility in our emissions reporting.
