In 2025 we welcomed James McNeill!

In September 2025 we were delighted to welcome James McNeill to Menard, working from our new office in Northern Ireland!

James has worked in the UK Ground Improvement and Piling sector for over 30 years. He has concentrated on Specialist Geotechnical Contracting since the mid-1990s, focussing on business development, estimating and design. As a Chartered Geologist with 25 years’ experience lecturing in Geology at Queen’s University, Belfast he has also contributed to a number of papers on the topic of Vibro Stone Columns.

James has been tasked with growing the Menard business in Northern Ireland, building on the back of Menard schemes such as Belfast Port, a major Bi-Modulus Column project. He will also be striving to maintain and build upon our position as a leading Ground Improvement contractor in the UK.
